India Cricket Schedule 2025: Upcoming Matches and Fixtures

June–July 2025: The Ultimate Test in England

India opens its India tour with a hard-fought five-Test series against England (June 20–August 4), a part of the ICC World Test Championship. On June 13–16, India's trip commences with a four-day warm-up match against India A (not necessarily to be considered Test match experience) in Beckenham, London, to adjust to English conditions. The Test matches will be at Leeds (1st Test, June 20–24), Edgbaston (2nd Test, July 2–6), Lord's (3rd Test, July 10–14), Old Trafford (4th Test, July 23–27), and The Oval (5th Test, July 31–August 4). This will be India's next Test series after beating England in England almost convincing in 2021 and the series will undoubtedly be key to India's WTC title defence with India being factored into winning records across England.

August 2025: Bangladesh Tour – ODIs & T20Is

Following their trip to England, India will then switch back to white-ball cricket in Bangladesh for a six-match tour (August 17-31). The tour gets underway with three ODIs that happen in Mirpur (August 17, 20) and Chattogram (August 23), and then three T20Is that happen in Chattogram (August 26) and Mirpur (August 29, 31). Bangladesh has been a formidable home-team in recent years, and notable spin-friendly conditions will pose a challenge for the Indian side who must adjust ahead of the global competitions to come.

October 2025: West Indies at Home & Australia Tour

October is a small two-Test series at home versus West Indies (Ahmedabad, October 2 to 6, Kolkata, October 10 to 14) that marginally plants a flag for tradition while T20 cricket reigns supreme over cricket fandom in the modern era.

After this mini-series, India will immediately fly to Australia for a multi-format series:

- Three ODIs in Perth (October 19), Adelaide (October 23), and Sydney (October 25).

- Five T20Is in Canberra (October 29), Melbourne (October 31), Hobart (November 2), Gold Coast (November 6), and Brisbane (November 8).

The T20Is involving five games suggests preparations for the 2026 T20 World Cup while the ODIs involve a storied rivalry.

November–December 2025: South Africa's All-Format Challenge

Combining Tests and limited-overs cricket, India ends the year with a home series versus South Africa:

Guwahati's (November 22-26) debut as a Test venue for Assams stadium follows two in Delhi (November 14-18).

Three ODIs in Ranchi (November 30), Raipur (December 3), and Visakhapatnam (December 6).

Five T20Is across Cuttack (December 9), Mullanpur (December 11), Dharamsala (December 14), Lucknow (December 17), and Ahmedabad (December 19).

Scheduled in smaller towns like Mullanpur and Raipur, the T20Is highlight the BCCIs efforts to enlarge cricket's footprint.
