His forceful stroke play-which included 6 fours and 7 sixes-smashed the LSG bowling attack. Shreyas Iyer provided excellent support, scoring 45 off 25 balls with a mix of elegance and power.
Josh Inglis added fireworks towards the end with a blistering 30 off just 14 balls, propelling PBKS to a daunting total of 236/5 in 20 overs – their highest of the season. LSG's bowlers, including Ravi Bishnoi and Mohsin Khan, struggled to contain the run flow on a flat pitch that offered little help to the bowlers.

However, Ayush Badoni stood and scoring 74 runs on 40 balls and keeping LSG's hopes alive. Abdul Samad also played a handy knock of 45 on 25 balls, but the required run rate kept climbing, eventually becoming too much to handle.
Rahul Chahar and Kagiso Rabada, who bowled economical best, provided strong support for Arshdeep Singh, who was the best bowler for the PBKS with two wickets. LSG lost by 37 runs as their innings ended at 199/7 in 20 overs.
After the match, LSG skipper Rishabh Pant admitted that dropped catches and poor execution cost them the game. "When you drop catches and give away 20-30 extra runs, it's hard to come back," Pant stated.
On the other hand, PBKS captain Shreyas Iyer praised his team's all-round performance and emphasized the importance of peaking at the right time in the tournament. "We're building momentum and the guys are stepping up when it matters," he said.
