This World Cup was the tenth edition and won by India. India in 2011 was led by the legend MS-Dhoni, they defeated Sri Lanka by 6 wickets in the final. Yuvraj Singh was named player of the tournament.

4-2023 Cricket World Cup (hosted Solely by India)

The 2023 Cricket World Cup was another landmark for India, as it hosted the tournament alone for the first time. This was the 13th edition of the series, and it was special not only due to India's sole hosting but also due to the high expectations from the tournament. The tournament featured a total of 10 teams while Australia won the final defeating India by 6 wickets.
