The Delhi Premier League (DPL) is a T20 cricket tournament held in the Delhi region of India. First launched in 2024, the league follows a format similar to the IPL, featuring both round-robin matches and playoffs. Currently, there are eight participating teams. Although it is a relatively new competition, in a cricket-loving country like India, the DPL has already attracted significant attention. It has also become a platform for showcasing many talented young players, with matches known for their intense and exciting atmosphere.
The 2025 season of the Delhi Premier League is scheduled to run from August 2 to August 31, 2025, with all matches being played at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. A total of 40 matches will take place, with most days featuring double-headers.
